Dr. Tina Thomas Receives 2 Toastmasters Distinctions
Dr. Tina Thomas received 2 distinctions at the Toastmasters International District 68 Fall Conference 2013 on Saturday, November 16, 2013 in Baton Rouge, LA. Dr. T was awarded her DTM and was named Toastmasters International District 68 Toastmaster of the Year.
DTM stands for “Distinguished Toastmaster” and is the highest award that one can earn in Toastmasters International. As is her typical modus operandi, Dr. T earned her DTM in record time. It usually takes 5 to 7 years to earn a DTM. Dr. T earned hers in 23 months.
Dr. Thomas was also named Toastmaster of the Year of Toastmasters International District 68, which is comprised of Louisiana, Southwestern Mississippi and the Beaumont area of Texas, for her outstanding work as a member and Area Governor of Toastmasters International.
